This is the story of 1970s African-American action legend Black Dynamite. The Man killed his brother, pumped heroin into local orphanages, and flooded the ghetto with adulterated malt liquor. Black Dynamite was the one hero willing to fight The Man all the way from the blood-soaked city streets to the hallowed halls of the Honky House.

The second feature in TR TV’s “spoof night” double feature. I haven’t seen this since it was briefly in theaters on release so it was sweet to revisit, esp. since I’ve seen a lot more blaxploitation films since then. Man, this movie really rides the line between being a dead-on impression and a spoof. So much of the stuff here is literally the same kind of crazy you’d find in many blaxploitation flicks, dialogue and action beats. It’s when Michael Jai White starts pushing his exaggeration that the scene reaches spoof territory. But ohmygosh is it a riot. It was a blast just with the Kast live chat but it would be a *great* movie night flick.
