Viewing Notes

This krimi is a nifty b&w German murder mystery that sorta plays like a proto-giallo. Had this been a tad more grim I’d classify it as a horror. This is one that deserves a restored transfer w/the original German dialogue (altho the dub isn’t bad). The “print” on Prime is super washed out and fuzzy. It’s amusing to me that this is a West German production w/German actors yet set in the rural outskirts of London (another reason the English dub doesn’t detract).

This would be a neat one to see cleaned up along with a crowd in a theater.
