Viewing Notes
This was the unplanned third movie in the TR TV watch party on Kast themed “murder mysteries with models” or something like that. This is apparently the third loose sequel to NOTHING UNDERNEATH, which was the first movie we watched. At some point in the evening Jason discovered that there was yet another movie related to this movie and found it and everyone agreed to keep the watch party rolling so we could see this movie since we all enjoyed the first two.
Unfortunately this movie, which may have been made for Italian TV, lacks the more salacious aspects found in the first two films, which are definitely late period giallo. This movie is more like a Lifetime channel murder mystery. It’s more about an affluent family and the drama between family members. It’s not very thrilling despite starring Richard E. Grant. The movie looks really nice but the story is kinda dull. Was a bummer after the previous two flicks.
