Viewing Notes
After recently revisiting Roar Uthaug’s ESCAPE, I noted that I still had not seen his slasher flick COLD PREY but had always heard good things about it. Was happy my InterLoan had it available. This is a solid “cabin in the woods” slasher with some great scares. The cabin in this case is an old abandoned resort that some skiers take refuge after one is injured. Then the movie really kicks into gear.
Fun stuff altho I wish I had seen this back around the time was released bc it was hard not to make comparisons to other films that followed like DEAD SNOW that shares virtually the same setup. That said, this movie still works and now I want to watch the sequels.
