4K restored by AGFA! This is the FF2020 secret screening!
Still a really fun, action-packed bad movie. This would’ve been a blast to see in theater with the FF audience. The restoration looks great. The director Q&A with Brian Trenchard-Smith was good esp. the details around the decision to film in Waco, Texas. Also how the lead actress Barri Murphy wasn’t intentional but bc another woman dropped out they re-wrote the screenplay to give Murphy a bigger role and essentially she saved the movie, according to John Stewart. It would be cool if they included that Q&A on the home video release (also bc BTS is pretty damn funny drinking wine whilst asking the questions and sharing his own stories).
