Viewing Notes
Last feature film for Day 4 of FF2020. This is an intense, uncomfortable, suspenseful movie! Another one that would’ve play really well in theater at FF w/that audience. The audible gasps and cringes in the theater would be palpable. So yes this is a very good FF flick. A few nitpicky things hold it down slightly for me, plot device stuff to contain the story. I believe most would chalk it up to kids not knowing how to deal with a situation. However, these kids know to do certain smart/skillful things in one instance then something not so smart the next. Minor stuff that doesn’t knock the movie as a whole bc this is solid and impressive piece of filmmaking.
