This title has popped up on Prime then disappeared a few times over the years so when I saw it in my recommendations I just clicked to view since I dunno how long it will stay up there. I have this on VHS but the version on Prime is a nice transfer probably from the Blue Underground release a few years back. I hadn’t watched it but confused this title with THE NEST. So I really didn’t know what the premise was until now.
This story is interesting because it’s similar to the story in the more recent GIRL ON THE THIRD FLOOR… an old house that was a brothel is now haunted by the former dead prostitutes. However, the lead in this has a eerie connection to the house and wants to live in it to resume her writing.
It’s not a very good movie but I dig the aesthetic and the old house is great.
