Super micro budget (~$5k?) rural Tennessee cursed object flick. Now this is exactly the type of flick you’d expect to see at CHFF. While often not very good I enjoy watching these mainly for how resourceful filmmakers can be in such a shoestring budget. This little flick draws from EVIL DEAD and has a scrappy amateur charm to it. However, I must stress this: always spend $$ on the audio. Bad audio just destroys indie films and here is another example of that. I realize it’s not easy to pull off when shooting on location but it really should be given attention.
