Viewing Notes
Basically a modern slasher w/o a reason… unlike slashers of olde where there was some kind of trauma or tragedy. That’s the setup, which is just kinda hollow. I like these filmmakers and it was cool to hear both Lussier and Todd Farmer talk about making the movie in the bonus featurette. However, this is one of those slasher flicks that has a good wrapper but the candy doesn’t taste very good. And it’s a real mean-spirited candy. Great locations in upstate NY that give this a good small town vibe and always neat to see Tom Atkins. I do like Kristina Reyes and she’s great here. I hope she goes on to do more film work.
