During the BLOODTHIRSTY Q&A during FF2020 the director Amelia Moses had a Spanish poster for this movie on the wall behind her, which put it back on my radar. Given that it’s been 10 years since I last viewed this movie I decided to give it a spin again. It’s par for the course for Amicus and very much an ape of the Hammer horror aesthetic. Has some solid creepy moments. Surprised this one never popped up in a horror marathon during the afternoon matinee slot where they usually program these types of period oldies. Really miss hitting those marathons this year.
