Carroll Baker stars in this psychedelic shocker about a mysterious witch who casts a spell over attractive, youthful fashion photographer Valentina Rosselli. Another month another Caroll Baker italo-thriller… or sorta thriller. Baker is miscast as the witch but everyone around is excellent (she’s 50/50 this year of the films I’ve seen). But! I really dig the style of this movie. Like a lot. So much so that during the broadcast I was looking up the Blue Underground release which is sadly OOP. Luckily found a used copy on eBay for six bucks. Now to see if it actually arrives (I pretty much quit eBay after a streak of bad sellers a few years ago).
Will be nice to watch it on my HDTV over my MacBook screen.
