Overview
Some time after the events of The Ring, a subculture of people voluntarily watch Samara Morgan’s video and wait to see how close to the seven-day deadline they can get before showing it to the next person. They record everything they see and share their experiences on a secret website dedicated to the videotape. No one has ever recorded a day seven.

Viewing Notes
One Missed Pod did their “Ring-A-Plooza” series of which I was a part of for RING 0, and in the final installment they covered the Hollywood remake THE RING, RINGS, and RING 2. I wasn’t aware of this short film until they mentioned it and covered it so I wanted to check it out. It’s an odd thing. Totally plays like a MTV “don’t do drugs” PSA in how it’s shot and the general look/feel of it. Very 2005. Also features a teenage Emily VanCamp, who is in the RING 2 movie that I still haven’t seen.
