Grabbed this off the horror shelf at the library bc I thought i hadn’t seen it but of course I have only 3 years ago. Watched it anyways since I had no recollection of it. I’ve only seen glimpses of the tv series but I think this movie works as a compact version of that character and story. It’s very Hammer Horror-esque, lovely gothic look/feel. Probably noticed this the first time around but this story is analogous to conversion therapy with the whole “vampirism is a disease that needs to be cured.”
