Story about the search for identity. With the lead character being adopted and trying to find the missing puzzle piece of where she comes from. With the help of modern technology and DNA testing she is able to make a connection with a biological relative, who invites her and her friends down to Louisiana. However with this new connection comes an old family secret, one that was suppose to stay hidden from her.

Viewing Notes
Another of the longer “short films” at CHFF and another what appears to be a proof of concept for a feature. Director and lead actress Erica Duke discussed this in her filmmaker video at the end. I would’ve guessed as much bc this short really has a cliffhanger of an ending; most of this is table-setting for a larger story that doesn’t really happen during this. But there are some good things here and hopefully she gets to make the feature film.
