Adventurer Clint travels across Borneo with a bunch of rogues and geologists on the search for a diamond mine. In the middle of the jungle, they meet a beautiful woman called Samoa. Hardly a surprise that Clint falls in love with Samoa, but trouble with the natives begins when the diamonds are found because diamonds are holy stones to them.

Such an odd number this one. The french dub made even more strange to watch. This is part National Geographic stock footage and part Italian soundstage with a few ventures into the wilderness in Italy or Spain or wherever they hell they shot this. Story is rather simple: a band of adventurers is hired to go to Borneo and seek diamonds. They encounter headhunters and eventually a peaceful tribe that includes Edwige Fenech (there’s a whole backstory as to why she’s there).
The mismatched film footage plus the carnage and weird immediate romance makes this a jarring viewing. Of course the only reason to view this is to see Edwige in an early role and she is quite divine.
Initially attempted to view on my HDTV via the YT app but the transfer is so poor it just looked like mud. So I watched on my phone and it wasn’t much better. tbf there are some static shots that do look decent but all the action stuff looks like soup. That said, I am happy that Sarah Jane uploaded this one to her channel. I’m always down for unseen Edwige Fenech.
