Viewing Notes

Huge blueprint film for KILL BILL that was off my radar until Fisty included it in her Noirvember Cornell Woolrich line-up. Fortunately my InterLoan had the dvd but this one could use a serious upgrade if one hasn’t been done already. It’s always fascinating to view movies after the fact and note how much of a certain film influenced another film. Tarantino has never been reticent about how he liberally borrows from other films and here is a perfect example. I’m surprised I haven’t seen this sooner based on that alone.
