Overview
The police get a call-out to a lonely hotel in the Alps. When an officer gets to the hotel everything seems to be alright. Suddenly, an avalanche cuts them off from the rest of the world and strange things start happening.

Wild flick! Would love to have a good HD release of this movie. Has some exquisite photography particularly with the use of the color and shot composition.

This “Iron Curtain Sci-Fi” classic was written by the Brothers Strugatsky, authors of the books on which Andrei Tarkovsky’s Stalker and Aleksey German’s Hard to Be a God were based.
