Overview

Not sure this was worth the drive up to Kenosha but it was cool to see giant monsters on the big screen.
Basically a remake of Enemy Mine / Hell in the Pacific but with monsters. So many monsters. Wasn’t aware that this is a Toho production but seeing that familiar logo card to start the movie made me smile. Curious what their involvement was during the production or if it’s just a distribution deal.
Worth noting that the controversial piece of dialogue was removed for the US release. If it was that easy to do I’m not sure why they didn’t do that for the China release or maybe it was too late.
