A two-timing bigamist finds himself concocting scheme after scheme with his best friend, Chi Hung, to prevent either of his wives from discovering his bigamy. The unwanted intervention of a police officer as well as a series of unfortunate events lead to the wives discovery of the whole plot. They team up with Chi Hung’s exasperated fiancée, Ka Lai, to exact revenge upon the two men.

Viewing Notes
This was the DriveInMob movie for last week as they do their CHOWuary event (all Chow Yun Fat films in January). Hadn’t seen this one nor do I think it’s readily available so I caught it before it gets taken down for the next film this week.
This is an entertaining slapsticky comedy with an all-star quartet that keeps it entertaining despite the ridiculous premise. Also amusing that 3 of the 4 keep their IRL names (sorry Waise!). Both Sally Yeh and Joey Wong are great playing against Chow’s silliness. Not really fan of these kinds of comedies but I did LOL a few times and all these actors are so much fun to watch.
