Viewing Notes

Another Twilight Zone-lite flick from Hong Sang-soo. This would pair well with The Day He Arrives, the only other Hong Sang-soo I’ve seen. This mistaken identity creates a neat little mystery for the viewer. Is this amnesia or is she playing them? Or is it entirely something else? I really like this.

When I watched The Day He Arrives a couple years ago via MUBI I knew I wanted to view more of his work. Now MUBI has an entire mini-retrospect and I’m crushed I cannot take in more of these films right now.

Had to watch on my Phone via the MUBI app bc for whatever reason the image quality via the MUBI app on my smart TV looked like complete garbage.
