Overview

Ro-Man, an alien robot who greatly resembles a gorilla in a diving helmet, is sent to earth to destroy all human life. Ro-Man falls in love with one of the last six remaining humans, and struggles to understand how his programming can instruct him to kill her while his heart demands that he can’t.

Viewing Notes

This was the midnight slot movie to replace PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE in Paul’s “Where’s B-Fest” event. I didn’t watch along with the broadcast but decided to throw it on this morning while cataloging since it’s available via Prime. I’ve seen it before and it’s quite awful and a good replacement choice for Plan 9. I do like this robot since I grew up with that image despite not having seeing the movie.
