Viewing Notes

Just once I wanna see Tarzan shave!! There’s a segment in this one where the group is on a quest to find the hidden tribe protecting the “fountain of youth” and it’s a long overnight journey. Tarzan doesn’t even have a bit of stubble the following day. Such a weird choice to adhere to the brand yet be so unrealistic. At least this is one story that is fantastical with Fountain of Youth as indicated by the movie title so that was nice to see for a change (one of the characters is removed from the not-surprisingly-all-white-and-beautiful tribe protecting the fountain and quickly ages to her present age). Another ridiculous thing is finding one of the trackers bone-white skeleton on the journey after he had been killed by the tribe only a few days earlier. Like, was he picked clean by vultures or something?

Again, Cheetah the chimp is the best here despite another obvious mistake of substituting a young monkey rather than a baby chimpanzee when Cheetah drinks water from the fountain. Um, hey dummies why does baby Cheetah have a long tail?
