It was supposed to be one last heist but it shouldn’t be a surprise that a burglary in Transylvania County would be interrupted by an ancient vampire’s awakening, resulting in a night of terror.

Discovered on the new release shelf at my library and was mainly attracted by the Jack o lantern cover art. Suspected this was gonna be a low budget affair but it’s also just not very good despite a few horror veterans giving it their all. The film sorta wants to be a dark comedy but really never fully commits outside of a couple moments. Despite the mayhem (and somewhat decent premise) the entire movie is feels flat. The somber score doesn’t help.
I’d only recommend this to Linnea Quigley completionists. Or Kane Hodder if you prefer.
