Longer than it needs to be in the runtime but still pulled me in with a decent premise and intriguing mystery. A few predictable beats yet builds towards a thrilling finale that’s almost too crazy at times.
Solid performance by Uhm Jung-hwa as the writer dealing with multiple issues while struggling to pen another book in this creepy old home. She’s not likable yet we emphasize for her which is probably the movies best trick.
This was an odd title to get from the library bc it was a DVDR released by Asian Crush. No features just a menu button to press play. Curious how the Evanston library procured this one (they also had that weird Malaysian bootleg dvd I got a while back).
