Huh definitely one of the lesser WW animated titles I’ve seen. Not terribly keen on reinventing her origin story and placing in modern times like she just shows up in 2014 or whatever. Also don’t care for this animation style; Diana looks emaciated in some scenes. It really is missing the elegance she has in other animated features.
I do appreciate that this is primarily an all-female cast with the only exception being Steve Trevor. Between the animation and weird story beats (see example below), this didn’t do much for me other being just okay.
Spoiler:
A main character is murdered and eventually Diana learns who committed this awful act from a full admission by the culprit yet Diana just let’s this person go and walks away. Like, what the fuck.
