Better than I expected. Immediately recognized the actress portraying Lian as the new Mulan even tho I haven’t seen that movie yet. She’s good here despite not getting a lot to do. Hayden does most of the heavy lifting and that Jedi training paid off. Cage either needed to go full Cage or less than whatever he’s doing in this. That silly accent doesn’t help. In fact, I wish they had used actual languages from the countries/ territories represented rather than everyone speak English, which made Cage’s accent even more bizarre as it wasn’t necessary when the entire Chinese army is speaking plain westernized English.
Anyways, this was fun and the Blu looks very nice. Wish the making-of was longer and featured an interview with Yifei (bet they regret that now).
