Didn’t realize this was on Netflix rn but it was fine on DVD and a good movie to throw on while sorting trash. The title is gibberish really and the story is silly but the action is great. Stu Bennett is back as John Gold and tasked with retrieving big bad Vinnie Jones. What’s nice is that they get right to the action and it never lets up while managing to keep the runtime under 80 minutes minus the credits.
The real stars are both the lead women who do plenty of ass-kicking. Guessed both were stuntwomen and I was right b/c they are just too good in these fight sequences. Refreshing to see and hopefully they get to do more work as main characters in action movies. Port them over to Indonesia and let Timo & Co create something cool for them.
This movie is super dumb but dumb fun and I hope they keep making more of these with Bennett and this character. Just make up more nonsense for him to do so he can beat up dudes all day.
