Overview

Viewing Notes
Since I went down to Marcus Addison for a $5 matinee I decided to really make the trip worthwhile and do a double feature but at another nearby cinema in Bloomingdale, Picture Show at Bloomingdale Court, which I had never even heard of until two days ago. Turns out it’s a budget theater in a nice strip mall. Matinees are $4. So I did a double feature for the same price as going to one matinee at my nearby AMC. It’s too bad this joint isn’t closer bc I would totally go and see movies for $4 a pop. Weird thing is that they don’t accept cash; credit only. So weird to pay for a four dollar movie on credit. ah well.
Anyways, holy shit this movie. Totally undersold in the trailer (from what I recall of it). Did not realize this was so hardcore and over the top. Guess I should’ve expected as much from the director of HARDCORE HENRY. I was laughing so many times as this story unfolded. Bob Odenkirk completely owns this role. Envisioned viewing this at a future movie night in Ron’s Secret Cinema. Def a movie I want to watch again.
