Actually agreed with the IMDb rating for once! Four stars out of ten for a completely bizarro live action adaptation of this property. Seemingly eschews most of the what makes this an interesting character keeping only a few names and designs for a horny-teens-on-main modernization wrapped in an anti-immigration allegory. Fucking really weird and awful at the same time. The fact that they stunt-cast wrestler Bob Sapp as a newscaster pretty much tells you all you need to know. Just one bizarre choice after another adding up to a PS2 CGI mudfest for the finale. No wonder this wasn’t ported for release here.
