wow been a while since I’ve seen a modern day 2000s+ shot-on-video horror flick. Kinda nice when you find one that’s decently made and still brings the gore. This is a weird flick that probably could’ve been a tad shorter for “short film” but all of it is captivating on the bizarro scale. Apparently this is the third chapter in a trilogy (or maybe there’s more on the way?). I don’t think it matters not seeing the first two, which I hadn’t. I had seen this movie get blurbed in my TL and it sounded cool.
It was screening for the Soho Horror Film Festival online via their FB group. So I had to sign up but I didn’t get approved for the group until today after the weekend fest was over but when I clicked the link it still opened so I figured I’d better just watch it at that moment before it gets yanked. Glad I did! It’s the kind of fringe filmmaking that I’d love to show at a movie night. Now I gotta track down the first two movies by this director.
