Overview

Viewing Notes
Another pretty damn good flick from Zhang Yimou. Love the visual style and cinematography the most tho it doesn’t quite reach the heights of SHADOW or HERO, even. Really want to see a making-of for how they recreated this city and the snow. The story machinations feel more like a Korean war thriller so it definitely kept me engaged. Excellent performances all around. Very happy that my $5 Tuesday theater got this one!
