In the near future, a popular uprising in Mexico City interrupts a wedding held at the home of a wealthy family. After the riots have been quashed, they discover the bride has gone missing and plea with the military to help locate her.

I’m torn on this one b/c it is just so mean spirited. The message is… everyone is bad? Thought it was going to be a pure classism exercise, the poor revolting against the rich, but it’s a lot more and a lot darker and a lot ickier. And I’m not sure to what end other than ‘screw the rich and it does not matter because we live in a corrupt society anyways.’ I suppose if there was a side to take here it would be the few innocents caught in the middle. I can give the film a point bump for being well made but it left me feeling rather grimy and depressed at the situation. Then again, perhaps that was the point.
