Viewing Notes

First feature film I’ve viewed since last Tuesday— almost one week! O_O

Really fun to watch this in the Secret Cinema! Didn’t really appreciate the slapstick on my first viewing nine years ago but have seen a few more of these Little Fortunes flicks since then and I’ve come around on this style of humor. Still not a fan of how women are treated in these films but they are a product of their time. The action is incredible and the entire cast is a who’s who of ‘80s Golden Harvest.

The three Dragons are terrific but it’s nuts how Yuen Wah steals the scenes with such sly physical comedy moves.
