Went over to Tonia & Ron’s for excellent burgers on the grill and stuck around to finish off the remaining “lucky stars” trilogy of films featuring some of the seven little fortunes. We had seen this last year via Prime but that was the dubbed and edited version. So it was nice to see the movie with the original language. I love the bookends w/Jackie Chan but still wild how sidelined Yuen Biao is. That middle section w/the slapstick stuff has its moments but still a bit icky with how they treat Sibelle Hu. Hopefully she was game for all that since she returned for the sequel.
