I like Patrick Rea and the few films I’ve seen of his including this one. It’s interesting that he chose to release this female werewolf story in the same year as another smallish budgeted female werewolf movie was released (BLOODTHIRSTY). The stories are very different yet share a similar tone of having a young woman discover her dark side.
The small budget here isn’t really an issue. Rather the film suffers a little from some over-exaggerated tropes, i.e. the bad cops. It’s poured on pretty thick here. I do like Kristen Vaganos in the titular role as well as the small town setting.
