Viewing Notes
Another Shaw Production… expiring on Netflix. One I definitely hadn’t seen nor heard of but I’m sure it has its fans. Plays like a those American summer teen romance flicks of yore with a young man training to learn mahjong in order to beat his devious Aunt May and take over the family business… running mahjong gambling parlors!
I enjoyed this but I’m sure it it be even more entertaining if I understood the game of mahjong! The movie did make me wanna learn how to play the game. It goes deep into the game and I’m sure those that know how to play would love this movie.
