Viewing Notes

This is a fun Jerzy Skolimowski flick and part of the double feature presented by Cinephobe.tv (they’ve been spotlighting Jerzy’s work since their re-launch). Could throw into the French New Wave bucket even tho it’s a Belgium flick directed by Skolimowski. Has many of the familiar signatures of that movement including the desperate protag and his futile attempts of trying to get this car as well as his willing girlfriend to leave all behind and go with him on this often criminal escapade. And in black & white, of course.

Since Cinephobe is featuring it I’m guessing a good home media edition isn’t readily available. Would like to see a restored quality release of this.
