My friend Patrick was hyping this one after doing an interview with the lead Sydney Sweeney. Definitely put in on my radar given that I didn’t know anything about it. I will say this was very challenging to watch bc I am smitten with Natasha Liu Bordizzo so I was easily distracted every time she’s on screen, which was a fair amount. She’s one of the most beautiful ppl on the planet so it’s understandable but god DAMN. How she’s not a bigger star is a mystery.
Justice Smith is an anomaly; how is this guy a working actor. He was fine in Jurassic World 2 but here he’s almost a non-presence, which is not a good thing for a co-lead role. I don’t hate the guy but there’s like zero personality in his performance. Was super cool to see Katherine King (BLOODTHIRSTY) show up! I think she mentioned this during her Q&A last year. Love her!
