Viewing Notes

After listening to a half dozen podcast episodes anoint this flick including separate interviews with Simu Liu and the director I decided to see this one more time while it was still in the Dolby theater. I love this movie but I love seeing Tony Leung on the big screen even more. Nearly every scene he has I get misty eyed. He’s just so goddamn good at this.

Beside him and Michelle my favorite is Meng’er Zhang. She is just so frickin’ wonderful to watch and has the absolute best expressions. I hope this movie leads to a big career for her.

Even tho this isn’t the best MCU movie it may be my favorite. Hearing both Simu and Destin discuss the movie and what it meant to them to make it also mean a great deal to me.
