It’s as though the filmmakers watched The Beguiled and The Other Lamb and mashed them together to make this movie. Cult leader “saves” young women and has them believing his bullshit until they finally do something about it. Those other films do it better (and had a bigger budget) but for a micro budget indie production apparently shot in Indiana this is decent. The cult leader looks like a cross between Ed Asner and Bob Hoskins.
There is one young woman here who is excellent but I’m not sure which actor she is (none listed here). She’s a mute and is perfect in the role. Most of the roles were by first time actors according to IMDb.
