Overview

A team of Interpol agents arrive in the city to testify against a local crime lord. However on the way to court the vehicle carrying the Triad boss is attacked and the crime lord snatched, not by his own people but by another foe.

Viewing Notes

This was on the Hi-Yah! channel so I decided to revisit since it’s not readily available to watch elsewhere. Lots to like in this but also some really goofy stuff like that ridiculous shootout in the alley where somehow no one gets hit by any of the thousands of bullets being fired… until the end of it, of course (also the worst part of the entire movie).

Michael Biehn will never not be weird in this with his intentional stilted acting. Totally forgot that Li Bingbing was in this as well as Gordon Liu as a police driver, which was so weird but maybe Daniel Lee was helping him out or something. Such a strange thing to see for this legendary actor.
