Viewing Notes

After lunch October movie and still an all-timer. This was released 4 years after the previous film and Browning’s Dracula. Would’ve been neat to see Whale’s take on Dracula and Browning do a Frankenstein movie.

This is my favorite Frankenstein film for a number of reasons but one more I’ve added today is that I’m smitten with Valerie Hobson who steps in to portray Elizabeth. Her plus Elsa Lanchester are a great female combo. Including screen legend Una O’Connor makes it the best Frankenstein film (among the other reasons I’ve noted before).

Borrowed the Legacy Collection from Ron since I haven’t located my UniMonsters Coffin set. I do have the steelbook for this movie but I think I’m gonna sell it.
