When a proposed pipeline creates hostilities between residents of a small town, a newly-arrived forest ranger must keep the peace after a snowstorm confines the townspeople to an old lodge. But when a mysterious creature begins terrorizing the group, their worst tendencies and prejudices rise to the surface, and it is up to the ranger to keep the residents alive, both from each other and the monster which plagues them.

Viewing Notes
This one would pair well with WOLF OF SNOW HOLLOW sharing a similar tone and mystery (is there a werewolf murdering ppl in this small winter town?) altho this one leans on the humor a little more and SNOW HOLLOW is clearly the better movie / mystery. Very curious about the video game this is based on having never heard of it until this movie was announced. If the premise is the same it would be an odd video game but maybe it works?
After a solid dose of vampire flicks, the previous 3 movies I watched, I wanted some werewolf in my eyes. This was only a 99 cent rental on Apple+ so why not. It’s worth 99 cents. I’ll likely watch it again whenever it hits another platform but not one I’d buy.
Oh Milana Vayntrub is a new face to me and she is cute as all heck. Really liked her in this and want to see more of her.
