Overview
Nick Hume is a mild-mannered executive with a perfect life, until one gruesome night he witnesses something that changes him forever. Transformed by grief, Hume eventually comes to the disturbing conclusion that no length is too great when protecting his family.

Viewing Notes
Had to get this one back to the library so gave it a spin.
The score / soundtrack is so bad it hurts the film. Occasionally maudlin and very Lifetime channel it is so distracting. Watched the unrated cut which I’m guessing just includes more seconds of the violence. If I didn’t already know I’d guess that a horror filmmaker directed this. Kevin Bacon and John Goodman are great overacting here. Very sad that Kelly Preston has another thankless role as the wife.
