First in our unplanned Ringo Lam double feature. Love the 90s HK trope of the one good guy obsessed with the one bad guy (yes, it’s not just a HK trope but it shows up a lot in HK cinema). Here Lau Ching-Wan is after Francis Ng for a very entertaining cat and mouse crime thriller. As typical with Lam, the plotting is a little overstuffed but it just means more of everything including those batshit stunts!
