Satya Azad, an upright Home Minister wants to cleanse the country of corruption with his Anti-Corruption Bill. However, it fails to get enough ‘Ayes’, not only from his allies, but also from his wife Vidya a member of the Opposition, who votes ‘Nay’ in the Vidhan Sabha. When a couple of gruesome killings take place in the city, ACP Jay Azad is brought in to nab the murderer, never mind his motive.

Second film in my Bollywood double feature at AMC Westminister. Was so happy they had both of this movies available but it did make for a long afternoon / evening with each film nearly 2.5 hours* (first movie was ANTIM: The Final Truth).
Thought this was a sequel (I watched the previous movie last night) since this also stars John Abraham in the lead and has a similar premise from the description. But this is an entirely new movie that just happens to have John Abraham as the lead. In fact he’s three characters in this movie! As it begins it’s practically a remake of the previous film. Then it goes in a different direction that made me smile. By the end it just gets bonkers.
Seeing John Abraham as a pure specimen of a man 4 years younger than me is inspiring. Not that I would ever have a physique like that but just knowing that hey dudes 50 years old can look ripped is nice. In these movies he’s superhuman and I kinda like that.
* just noticed that the runtime listed here is wrong; it’s 2:18 and I know because I was checking the time at the interval.
That reminds me, some guy left during the interval, which is common b/c it’s the intermission in all Bollywood films. But he never came back!! WHAT
Also, a group of ppl came in 50 minutes after the listed showtime. WTF—they weren’t theater hopping bc they had armfuls of concession snacks. I don’t understand that.
