Perhaps the best thing about this is that it’s set in Batavia, Illinois (shot mostly in Canada, however). It does look a lot like the streets where Ron lived.
This story probably works better for those that were around the same age as these kids in 1988. There are a couple moments when I laughed but otherwise eh it’s whatever. Also hated the ending.
Impressed this was made during the pandemic. You’d never know it. Give it a half point back for the Dio-led Black Sabbath tune.
