When the sour-sweet wind starts blowing again, the Whos retreat to their homes because they know the Grinch will soon be a’prowlin. Young Eukariah Who has to make a trip to the Euphemism (outhouse), when the wind blows him away to a confrontation with the gruesome Grinch. Eukariah decides that the Grinch must be stopped, so he faces his fears and confronts the Grinch and his spooks.

Felt appropriate to watch this right after NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS. Had seen it back in October for the first time via YT so it was nice to see a clean picture and good sound via the Grinch Blu.
Holy cats! Danny Elfman lifted the melodies from this for NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS. ::wide eye emoji:: it’s nuts how the rhythm and tempo, especially that drum beat is the same. So what is very fascinating is that I followed this with a making-of featurette on the main Grinch movie and… Danny Elfman is in the feature talking about the music!!! So yeah I’m pretty sure he & Burton so this Halloween tv feature and took that seed to make NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS. Wow
