Was happy to find this otherwise unavailable Kazuya Konaka flick via YT but it’s dubbed in English?! WTF
Not a particularly good movie but certainly weird and gay-coded and barely even in the subtext (I think many Japanese films do this since homosexuality is taboo). Not sure if it’s the shoddy transfer or it’s just poorly lit but this film is very dark and murky. The English dub sucks (a character pronounces “Midori” as “meadery”). I would totally watch a better print in its original Japanese language.
