Every time I see one of these unavailable on physical media titles by Obayashi I get angry. This is a real gem and it is crazy that it has not gotten a proper release in the wake of all his other (recent) titles getting nice Blu releases.
Kiwako Harada is amazing as Miiyo. Beautiful tough girl that loves motorcycles. This might be the first babyface Riki Takeuchi film I’ve seen. He’s also very good here.
